The Arc of Montgomery County’s vocational program contracts with businesses to perform services such as mailing, packaging and assembly. Job coaches work directly with participants to assist with production, answer questions and solve problems.
The Arc's vocational program is an effective solution for participants and businesses alike. Participants enjoy interesting and ability-appropriate work while employers are assured of a high-quality product and the knowledge they are strengthening the community by investing in workers with disabilities. Participants are assigned based on their interests and abilities and receive wages paid according to federal time study guidelines. Participants also have opportunities to participate in recreational and community activities as part of the program.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm.
