The Arc Montgomery County identifies, creates and sustains inclusive communities that embrace and engage individuals and families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Vision
We have a ten-year vision of taking risks to achieve unprecendented outcomes for individuals with I/DD, to strengthen the entire Montgomery County community, and to improve our own operations.  

  • Individuals with I/DD are as independent as possible at every age.
  • Individuals with I/DD have meaningful, inclusive engagement in their communities.
  • The Arc employs new language, attitudes and models of service delivery built on collegiality, respect, facilitation and community engagement.
