Jerry Song
Children & Youth Services Participant

Jerry Song has been taking part programs at The Arc Montgomery County's Karasik Child Care Center for over a year. There he enjoys a safe, positive, nurturing and enriching environment where he and other children with and without disabilities can grow and learn.

When Jerry came to Karasik, he had both social and language delays. Today, he has progressed tremendously. His teachers work closely with his therapists to target all areas of his early childhood development. Like a lot of little boys, Jerry is inquisitive.  He enjoys playing with other children and actively engages them in conversation. Fingerpainting, playing with cars or building blocks, story time and playing outdoors are among his favorite activities.

Jerry's family is very supportive and nurturing and they frequently go on weekend field trips to reinforce his interest in the world. Jerry’s, mother, Qing Liu, says, “Looking back, we feel extremely lucky that Karasik is available to him. The teachers are all nice, patient and knowledgeable. You can tell that the children really like Karasik and enjoy their time there.”
